Anyway. I wanted to give some details about what ended up happening. I took some 🍄 that were described as "stand up strong" bc I wanted an active experience. My partner and I did them together for our 1 year anniversary trip that happened to fall on the full moon in Taurus. My intention was to connect with myself, my spirituality, and my partner. When I was first peaking, my partner and I went out into a meadow by our cabin and screamed into the space, which was such an incredible relief and felt so freeing.

During the first chunk of the experience, I was so relaxed and giddy and just loved being in the space with my partner. My partner was tending a fire for us and was being very poetic with what they were sharing regarding us feeling connected. They literally described me as being pure magic. I think at any other point in my life, that would have felt like pressure to perform a certain way, but in those moments last night it felt affirming and freeing.

This was about the time my partner suddenly said they saw my third eye, and this morning they described it as slow blinking at them. I think them saying this gave me the confidence to pursue magic last night.

My partner noticed the full moon above the lake and we walked to the dock to look at it. I sat at the edge of the dock and stared at the moon and she was beautify. I could see her pulsing and there was a kaleidoscope of colors around her. My partner wanted to go back to the cabin but asked if I wanted them to bring me my tarot set. While they went to get them, I felt so much energy around me.

They brought the cards to me and let me be with myself to do some readings. I asked the cards who was with me in that moment. I ended up having four cards come out of the deck while shuffling. The Star, Three of Cups, Strength, Queen of Pentacles. All four elements were present in this reading. And with the deck I use (Shadowscapes Tarot), all four cards depicted powerful feminine energy. If anyone has feedback on these four cards being pulled for that ask, I would love to hear. I still have to so more reflection on what this means for the spirit guides that were with me. I then asked "who am I". The two cards that came out together while shuffling there the Knight of Swords and the Two of Swords. This part messed me up (in a good way) because I have the Knight of Swords tattooed on me from a previous tarot project a local tattoo artist did. It felt so powerful to be told in that moment that I am the Knight that will cut through the bullshit and create action. And knowing that I am not alone in that with the Two of Swords present.

I came back to the fire and spend the night with my partner after that. I looked at myself in the mirror at one point and noticed all the spots on my face and my eyelashes and I felt so pure and beautiful. I also had thoughts of feeling so powerful as I went to the bathroom, bc I had my peroid and I was just thinking about how incredible people with uterus' are. We bleed and we still move through each day, fighting for space to be heard and seen. It felt like I was truly understanding the gentle warriors and powerful healers we are.

Later that night, once we came down from the trip, we ended up sleeping together and it felt so powerful. There was definitely some magic between us. As we move through the end of the cycles that are happening with the planets and hit our 1 year anniversary on Monday, I am excited to see what we create together next. And what we created last night in that moment together in bed. 💖
