I had never believed in magic before, previously I had guilty feelings around witchcraft from my upbringing and I knew almost nothing about crafting. I have always enjoyed natural elements, reused items like egg shells for plant fertilizer, simmered cinnamon for smell in my home, basically kitchen witching on accident. It was pretty recently, 6 months ago that I was at my former job. The business was corrupt and immoral. One day I had googled if anyone died there and I found news articles about wage theft they committed, they also had 2 legs get broken at the business last year and countless other horrible horrible experiences. One day I looked up at what was an 8 foot by 4 foot light fixture that clearly put off a lot of light, or should have rather. There were reflections from the huge light on items around and you could tell it was supposed to be very lit in the building. But when I faced forward and noticed that it was so dark despite this bright light I just had an intuitive feeling like there are negative energies, spirits or curses here. I never had been introduced to any aspect of magic only from Disney movies really. It was just an inexplainable feeling, I've always been very data driven and practical believing that magic was for movies but for some reason I couldn't deny that the bright light that wasn't illuminating the room showed me something very strong, something not mundane and something undeniable. Now I have seen patterns within my practice that I feel are verified and I have full belief. In a funny way I'm super grateful I was so miserable there (I'm safe now) because I got started in my research of magic! I'm just wondering was anyone else entirely uneducated and then struck with a feeling this way, I'd be quite interested to hear a positive version too! Thanks, Baby Witch ๐งน๐
