Having my altar in my car

I am homeless and live in my car, is it okay to have my ancestor altar/altar in my car? It’s very simple, mostly a cup of water, a white candle and a cigarette. I was wondering if this set up is okay until I can get housing or should I wait until I can have a better altar?
Any help or tips appreciated:)
