Which wisdom tooth pain is normal when growing?
Post Body

Hello,

my upper right wisdom tooth started growing and my dentist says that from the X-ray it doesn’t seem impacted (it’s just 2D x-ray). However, I am experiencing quite mild pain to severe pain for a moment or two. Yet, I do not feel pain in the jaws or anything. I also don’t think my gums are swollen, only maybe in the area where the tooth grows. I can feel the tip of the tooth with my tongue, it’s already out a bit. Also, the teeth next to it are a bit sensitive when I bite. I can’t chew anything hard for a few hours and then it’s fine again.

Is this normal or should I urge my dentist to look more seriously into this? So far, she has told me it looks fine but why would my other teeth hurt?
