Question on salt rinse
Post Body

35M going on 3 days post op. Had all 4 teeth removed, 3 normal, 1 impacted. Doctor said everything went very good. I have been on an all soft diet, yogurt, protein shake, tomatoes soup etc. I am going to try more solid foods tomorrow, (cottage cheese, well cooked pasta, etc). How clean IS clean when doing a salt rinse? Do I need to rinse until I see/feel nothing in my teeth? Or swish around a couple times and call it good? This is probably a dumb question but I am terrified about getting dry socket or an infection. I haven't had any pain so far and would like to keep it that way. I know that probably won't happen but wishful thinking. Doc said days 4,5, and 6 are the worst. Surgeon said not to use the irrigation syringe until 1 week post op. Thanks in advance everyone!!!
