Hello. I have been having issues with my wisdom teeth for years but have been putting off getting them removed. I am at a point now where one of them is really painful and I just looked in there with a flashlight and it looks like it's turning brown, so I'm assuming I can't put it off any longer. The gum and cheek have swollen around it basically and created a pocket around it so I cannot fully bite down or I bite the gum and cheek. If someone can tell me how to attach a pic I will. Anyways I have a DEATHLY fear of anesthesia. I've never been put under before. I have a lot of heart problems and I'm not healthy at all, so it's just something that really really scares me that I won't come out of it. Has anyone had their wisdom teeth out without anesthesia? Just local numbing? How was the experience? Can you describe what happens and what I'd be feeling and seeing?
