I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed about 12 days ago (on 4/26). Last week, I had developed an infection in my bottom left extraction/jaw. I was on antibiotics for 5 days, and so far those infection symptoms have stayed away, so I’m hoping I’m in the clear from infection now! However, when I irrigate my sockets, my back right side has no hole, just kind of a flap of gum growing toward my other molars. On the other side, there’s this little hole. I just want to know if this is normal and how long I should expect for this hole to close up. I’m a little paranoid because when I rinse, a tiny bit of white looking tissue will come out of the hole. That said, I’m in no pain (except some pressure when biting/chewing) and there hasn’t been a taste of pus in my mouth like last time. Just hoping to get some reassurance that I’m healing okay! I’ve bothered my oral surgeon a lot lately, and want to get some advice from others before calling him again :) Thanks in advance everyone!
