I’m a former Republican turned Independent. I voted for Harris because I believe Trump is unfit and dangerous. The main reason is his conduct from 11/4/20-1/6/21. I still lean to the right though and Hovde didn’t do anything that was disqualifying in my mind, so I voted for him. I also believe that Democrats having a trifecta is bad for the country because in my opinion they go too far, govern irresponsibly, and generate backlashes that help people like Trump win.
Did anyone else do the same thing? I know I’m part of a small minority, but my decision to split my ticket in this particular way was highly logical and well-thought out.
and then everyone stood and clapped

If Trump is President, having a Republican Senate won’t do much additional harm because almost all of the controversial and harmful things that Trump wants to do are executive actions.
And you call this a well thought out decision???????
