Unable to get router settings correct to work with bridged modem?

I have a ASUS RT-N66U router and a sagemcom 4300 modem. I put the modem in bridge mode so that I could use PPPoE on the router. I got everything working fine until last night the was a brief power outage and some settings got reset on my router. Now I am unable to get it working again and nothing I change seems to help. Is there an extra step I am forgetting or am I jut going about this the wrong way?
