We bought our house 2 years ago and installed wireless repeaters on each floor, each linked to the router by cable. The repeaters are by TP-Link, model RE330. They have been working okay-ish for the most part, every once in a while the signal was bad here or there, or a repeater needed to be restarted. But during the last couple of weeks the whole system went down the drain. While most of the time the mobiles catch the signals (but they have many more problems than before), all laptops now constantly struggle to hold the connection, the only thing working was to restart the repeaters - but sometimes it takes as little as 30 minutes until the signal fails again.
We changed nothing. There is no new stuff anywhere, the hardware stayed the same, there is no major obstruction (my laptop is constantly loosing the connection even though there is nothing but air between it and the repeater, and its 8ft away) And the phenomenon streches over all 3 repeaters.
I updated the bios on all devices, I even reinstalled drivers on the laptops, there is just nothing keeping the signal steady.
Any ideas appreciated. I also take advice for other manufacturers and repeaters of hopefully better quality, because I am fed up with this nonesense.
