What do you think of the concept of AI Generated Winx songs? I kind of went for the low-effort variety and took an existing song and asked the AI to rewrite the lyrics... I'm sure I could either do a better rewrite or come up with something completely original just leave the backing instrumentals behind me. What do you think is the AI possibly coming for the Winx songwriters or possibly the writing team of Winx in general?

So, I recently asked an AI (Chat GPT) to rewrite a song as a Winx Club fan song and specifically include a reference to Church of Winx. You’ll never believe what it came up with. Before we get to the AI response and my slightly altered version of those lyrics, a little background for those living under a rack:

Chat GPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) designed to process text and generate responses. It is more specifically a natural language processing engine trained on a very large language model. As of the time of this paper, it’s free to use in evaluation at chat.openai.com. So in my ever-curious mind I thought I wonder if this thing could do a better job of remixing lyrics that I can without the tool. So I picked a song by the rock band Citizen Soldier called “Madhouse” which came out after the data set that was used to train Chat GPT thus I had to feed the lyrics in.

I’d say for a first attempt that’s pretty good, of course I’d need to clean it up and make things a little prettier; so I did. Find below my cleaned up version of what the AI wrote. However; even I could not fix the part of the song that I commented as “What on Flora’s green Earth…” so fun times playing around with AI generated rewrites of songs. I still think if I took enough time to really sit down with it, I could do a slightly better job than the AI; so I don’t think that the robots are coming for my job of custom song remixes anytime soon.

Note if anyone can possibly fix that area commented out before the final chorus... I'd be appreciative. Heck, I'm even thinking of taking that and running with it in a live performance one of these days Just need to fix that odd bit there.
