Guys. GUYS! I've lived in Winston Salem for 14 years. Granted my existence has mostly been work-home-sleep repeat, but I've started to explore the city.
I recently discovered the Washington park neighborhood and have fallen in love. It's like a sleeper west end with the bungalows and historical houses. I always avoided the area because it's bordered by peters creek and south side/school of the arts, but apparently gentrification has transformed the sleepy little neighborhood. I feel like it has great bones and character and a lot could be done to really develop it into something great.
What are your thoughts?
