I want to start a vineyard. It is something I have thought about for better than 10 to 15 years and realize it is no easy feat . I have space and options, where I live is a sandy loam soil with lots of slope options and the possibility of irrigation. I am in growing zone 5a to 4b, which I realize is not ideal for everything.
If you were starting over today what is some wisdom you would like to impart? Are there any books that are a must read? Other communities you have found helpful?
I am also not opposed to a mix of fruit that would be cold tolerant to my region.
Thanks in advance.
