23M who has been drinking wine since 14 (my first bottle was a Columbia Crest Merlot from Washington State). I drink socially but if I had to choose anything the majority of the time it would be wine.
I studied Geography in college and while I am looking for jobs in this area (GIS, maps) I also know this would be a backup.
The job is in Detroit at a place downtown and the qualifications are:
Certified Sommelier from Court of Master Sommeliers or WSET Level 3
• I do not have this :(
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Yes - from college studies.
Must be 21 or older

Passionate about the company with a deep appreciation for wine and the understanding of the customers emotional experience
• Yes, I feel I can be a good judge of people and handeling their emotions in a kind but professional way.
More specifically, possess and affinity for the customers experience
• Yes, all of my jobs have been in customer service (most notably Hotel Night Audit and Delivery).
Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise considerable judgment in establishing, building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of customers
• Yes, I have actually figured out that my personality is very more interpersonal.
Must have a social and outgoing personality
• Yes, I am an extrovert.
Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
• Yes, I workout 6 days a week and have problems sitting for too long.
While I understand this sub might not give me a definite answer it would be amazing if someone could give me some advice.
