Why do people drive so aggressively on the EC Row?

I just needed to vent, I find driving on the EC row anxiety inducing. I am constantly driving 20-30 Km above the speed limit, and I am still driving too slowly for those in Ford f150s/ 4x4 trucks who follow too closely… It’s unsafe. What gives? 😤
