8.1 Tip- you must uninstall Facebook Beta before installing the "new" Facebook to get the new features

If you were running the Facebook Beta, and upgraded to 8.1, you may be frustrated. A.) it will tell you that you have to download the FB app, even though you have one and B.) Even if you do, you might find the FB app doesn't work.
My solution was to uninstall the FB Beta (and since I had already installed FB, uninstall the new FB app) and then re-install FB, and now it works fine. Just a tip in case you ran into the same problem as me.
