Ok, I’ve read some previous threads on this. Every time windows ( I’m on insider beta) has a security intelligence update, it turns on periodic scanning because windows security doesn’t immediately recognize I have Norton installed. It takes a few minutes for Norton to appear as my security program in windows security even though Norton is running. I have no other security software installed; I checked. I have no malware or viruses. I checked with Norton full scan, power eraser including rootkits, and independent scan with hitman pro ( not installed but running stand alone). From my limited searching, this doesn’t appear a problem with other security software. So, is this a Norton issue? Is there any fix that is known? It’s not a huge problem but an irritation. If it’s true that it’s happening only with Norton, why don’t they fix it? It has also been a long-standing issue according to what I’ve read. Is there a way to fix this that anyone knows. BTW, this problem occurs on both my computers. They are both insiders beta. Thanks
EDIT: I did send feedback to Microsoft
