so long story short i have two laptops laptop 1- with windows 7 home premium is the original OS and it has a COA sticker on the bottom with the key for windows. laptop 2 -The other laptop is an HP and I already had Windows 10 on there, but for some reason one day, it just stopped loading up and I was unable to boot it into it at all. So what I was left with was two laptops seem like corrupt hard drives, so I decided I might as well just write zeros to it and start over again quickly realizing I didn’t have a laptop to even begin making a USB drive except for my android smart phone so I went and installed elementary OS Linux with rufus on my phone BC no matter how many times in and how many sequences of settings and bias are tried with a Windows 7 ISO on a USB. It just would not work no matter what the parameters this is the first time I was 25 years of not been able to figure this out and I know it has something to do with the fact that Windows 7 was a OS that strictly used boot DVD but I unfortunately do not have a copy of that and I don’t have anyone that I could borrow I’m stuck with downloading an ISO off the Internet and verifying the hash which I have done so maybe someone has it on what I could do or has a Link that could shoot me to give me an answer to how to get Windows 7 premium installed on a 4gb asus..

Anyways, laptop number two this was my laptop that I was using full-time and all my files are on it so I was really disheartened when I couldn’t move back into it. In the meantime, I took my Linux USB drive and popped it in there this morning with elementary os and decided to do the custom install to check and see if the partitions were still on there with my data there and Boy was I surprised. So this is my question, per the screenshot, is there anything I can do to recover those files and possibly the operating system that is on there issue that I was having is I would boot into it and it would just give me a constant logo screen for a diagnosing windows that was never ending and would never move forward. It was a constant loop of recover, but never recovering restoring back to the original operating system but then not restoring so I figured I had enough it was just right over it with something better or at least something different but as you see, there is a lot of files or data written on these partition still so instead of just deleting them on the way, until I can get some input from someone on here as to what my choices are as far as moving forward in the meantime, I’m probably gonna set aside some of that extra space but elementary operating system Lennox on here so I have something I can run especially some windows put on there. It’ll keep Lennox at the back all right thank you sorry for my grammar voice I realize Lennox is not spelled that way
