XP or newer: Usually works on windows 10 right out of the box. If not try the options below.

ME or older: I just run an ME virtual machine on virtualbox. I followed this guy's video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XHD6mB9b88] to update the graphics driver. Some other options that can also work for newer games are scummvm and wine

DOS Games: Using DOSBox by itself is a confusing process. I just use the dosbox core on Retroarch and Retroarch boots up the game for me without needing to use any command line.

So there you have it. That's my setup for playing old windows games.
