Use controller over USB with RDP

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experience getting a USB controller (Xbox One controller, in this case) working over Remote Desktop Connection. I currently have my Local Resources set to forward all ports and PnP devices, but it will not forward the controller no matter which configurations I try. If there are any free supplementary programs needed to make this work, I'm also totally fine with that. I'm currently at a loss.
