(Windows 7) I updated my Realtek audio driver and now my Peace equalizer doesn't work

I am pretty sure it's a program permission/priority thing, but I wouldn't know how to change that. Has anyone had a separate equalizer that suddenly stopped working once realtek audio manager was installed?
