It could just be me but checking the sub and seeing crime posts, does nothing positive for my mental. I've contacted the mods and I don't think anything will change on this matter. I have reason to believe the sub is also being brigaded so I don't think its a good reflection of the community.

Idk why you all live here, but I picked williamsburg because its the best neighborhood in the best city in the world. Its got its problems and yea its getting gentrified fast, but still I love it. A quick stroll down domino park on a sunny day will lighten my mood. East wburg has some of the most affordable and lively bars I've seen in awhile. The restaurants are fantastic and contrary to what people say, some creatives still live here and find ways to bring color to our neighborhood. I truly abhor how these people talk about it. Like its some crime riddled backwater. I'm done arguing with people about it.
