Post Body

I completed the South Downs Way in March of last year and I sweared to complete another long distance trail that year! Sadly it’s taken me almost 12 months to the day that I am planning my next one! I aim to complete the trail in March this year and would welcome any advice, guidance, tips etc. I completed the South Downs Way within 5 days and enjoyed it immensely. It was on my doorstep and I’d walked sections in the past but never in one go. A great achievement and I am inspired to carry on! I will give myself 7 days to complete and will be wild camping along the way - of course setting up late, leaving early and leaving no trace.

Things I would like to know about The Cotswold Way

Water points - looks like the trail passes through towns so I can restock there. SDW had many water taps enroute, is this the case on CW?

Wild camping - how achievable? Any good spots (not exact but general areas)

Start/end point - Bath is very well connected but I understand Chipping Campden not so much? Ideas on how best to access this point. Also which way to walk (south to north?)

Any other information I might find helpful or points from previous experience.

Many thanks!
