Iām an admitted patient gamer. I was one of the 5 people to buy a new WiiU in 2016 shortly before folks really started talking about the NX. Maybe it was to spite Nintendo for cutting off the generation right when I bought into it, but I decided to wait out the Switch and keep finding new WiiU games to enjoy. The console is technically the newest one I have, sharing ports on the tv with a PS3 and GameCube. Really tempted to get a Switch now just to play TOTK, but I will stay strong to see if the SwitcherU (or Switch 2, if Nintendo are cowards) will have backwards compatibility before making that final decision.
