I have a first generation Wii (I think, it plays GameCube games, has the controller and memory card slots), connected to a Roku TV via the component cables. I've been noticing on games, especially Mario Party (where there is so much going on during the board scenes), that it is difficult to pick out the player from all the different things moving/showing in the background.
I basically want the display to look as close to it how would have when it was new, I'm not trying to upgrade the display per se.
A few questions:
Should I leave the aspect as widescreen, or go to 4:3?
Should I switch the display settings on the TV to "game"
Should I play around with the color scheme on the TV?
Should I just wear my glasses like I'm supposed to? Ok, ok, on that yes of course, but my display still seems to be missing something, it's just not popping like it seems it should.
Any advise is appreciated, thanks fellow Wii players!
