So I stay with family and I stay in the basement (I am trying to move out to a better living situation, but it’s not going well so far) and it’s not necessarily bad, but I stay in the far end of the basement which is the furthest place from the wifi. The connections tend to be spotty, so I tried to get a wifi extender.
This kinda worked. It was ok enough until the Wi-Fi company came to work on it some and next thing I know, that one just wrecks the Wi-Fi everytime.
I went and got another one, which worked fine for a couple weeks but then it stopped. This one also had an app to help set it up, but the app showed everything was fine.
My family isn’t too tech savvy to begin with either but they suspect you can connect the Wi-Fi to 2 routers so that we could maybe set one up closer to my room, but I think the WiFi extender does the same, It’s just wireless.
Idk what the issue is either with the extenders. They work fine, then after some time they stop. The password is the same and I try resetting them which is like a 50/50 chance of working again, idk.
