Adrift... in the middle of the night

Nothing like a trifecta of crappy circumstances coalescing at the same time: a wholly random wave of grief for my late partner, a random / sudden wave of high priority stuff to do for work, garnished by a crappy overnight with minimal sleep. I am lucky inasmuch as my sons are grown & long gone. Guess I'll just need an IV of coffee while sucking it up today. Sigh.
