We share memories that make us smile, and hopefully, ease those hurting in their new grief. I'll start:
She was always doing something for somebody, always being a positive impact. We worked together and we had a coworker whose two youngest sons were on the autism spectrum. LW and coworker had gotten to be close friends and LW made an activity blanket for coworker's youngest son using Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That young man still has that blanket.
While she was dying from her cancer, she crocheted those ear extensions that kept the paper mask straps from irritating the backs of nurses ears and handed them out to all the nurses at the oncology clinic and Drs and nurses that took care of her at the hospital.
She was my angel and I miss her everyday
