Share a memory that brings a smile to your face. Hopefully, your memory will make someone else smile in their grief and pain too. Let's help each other out. Here's mine:
We used androids (personal preference). She had a cell phone that would read her text messages. I sent her inappropriate text messages while she was at work and when she went on break, friends would congregate around her. She opened up one she should have listened to alone (no sexting). Her coworkers roared with laughter.
Years later, I sent her a text message of my old man misadventures. I thought I had sent it to her while she was on lunch. She was on a call with an older lady trying to fix her phone, she had just lost her little doggy. Our thing at work was empathy and my late wife had it down pat. That day, she read my text and she was caught between laughing and being empathetic. She told me she was rocking back and forth, squeaking with her hand over her mouth. Her team leaned over to watch her curiously. She finally got the issue resolved and exploded with laughter. She showed my text message to her friends and her team manager. They all laughed too.
