I think I'd like to start a thread on good memories. Tell us all a fond memory of your spouse/SO or the both of you together. It doesn't have to be funny but something when you think or read it, it brings a smile to your face. I'll start:
My family came the day before our wedding. Her mom wanted a quick rehearsal just to make sure things went well. I stood at the altar (outside wedding) waiting fir my beloved to walk down the aisle flanked by her stepdaddy and baby brother.
My parents, my lifelong best friend, my oldest brother and his kids were standing on the back deck. This was the biggest group of asians and one Mexican (best friend and best man) gathered together in NE Alabama.
There came my beautiful bride out of the garage/man shed. On either side were said family members toting shotguns over their shoulders. My parents, niece, nephew, and best friend stood there shocked, eyes as big as dinner plates, jaws on the ground. My oldest brother and I were on the ground laughing.
This past September, I served as his best man for his wedding
