Post Body

I want to get into wet shaving, and ultimately be able to give myself a great straight razor shave. In doing research about this, I have come to the realization that I probably don't have the time necessary to ONLY shave with a straight razor. So, I am interested in picking up both a DE and a straight. I've gone through all of the info in the sidebar and followed links aplenty, but still don't know what I should really be getting.

I don't know if this information is pertinent but, I wear a beard and primarily want to be able to keep my neck and lines clean. My facial hair isn't incredibly coarse and it all tends to head in the same direction, with the exception of a few spots on my neck.

After looking through a bunch of info yesterday, here are a couple options that I am looking into to get started. I would love any advice or suggestions that you folks might be able to share.

I don't know anything about this razor, but it seems like a decent entry price for all of this gear Edit: I went ahead and bought it.

Again, I have no idea where to begin, but would one of these be a good entry point for my first straight razor?

Beyond that, I know that I will need to pick up a strop. Is there anything that I am missing? Thanks in advance for the help.
