Hi all,

I've had DE89s pretty much my entire DE shaving career, since around 2011. I think I am on my fifth or sixth now due to the threading on the handle/head giving out.

I want to buy a stainless razor that I can use (hopefully) for the rest of my life, maybe even pass it on to a grandchild some day. I want the razor to give a similar shave to the DE89.

I've searched the sub but most people are asking for upgrades from the DE89, they don't like the shave, or want something more aggressive - and so the recommendations don't apply to me.

I had ordered an Edwin 3one6, but cancelled after I read the shave is quite a bit more aggressive than the de89.

Help please - I'm based in the UK, budget not too much of a problem.
