I always see reviews of soaps after people have used them once or twice, but I always thought that I'd want to know people's thoughts about a soap when it's almost gone.
This soap commander: Honor has treated me well, or I wouldn't have made it this deep into it. When I first bought it, I initially didn't like it, and it sat on my shelf for a long time before I returned to it. Once I gave it a shot by trying it regularly for a couple of weeks, I really honed in on it and appreciated it much more.
Scent-wise, it's marketed as a Barbershop scent, but I never really got that. It smells very good, and the scent is moderately strong. Strong enough to stay on you for awhile, but not strong enough to waft over to otthere.
In terms of slickness and cushion, it is pretty good, but not fantastic, at both.
I think the post-shave feel is excellent, and I normally don't even bother with a balm or aftershave when using this soap.
Would I buy this soap again or recommend it to others? Absolutely. I probably won't purchase more, but only because there are so many other products to try, not because I was displeased with the soap.
