Has any Broadway Elphaba ever received a mainly negative reaction?

I'm not asking anyone to spread hate, I'm just wondering if any of the leads on Broadway have received more negative than positive reception for their take on the role? It seems all of them receive raves (as they should!!!!). I've seen Caroline Bowman, Rachel Tucker, and Jessica Vosk live and loved them.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm referring to widespread public opinion, not just "oh I saw the show and didn't like her take on it"
