The Chitauri forces (Respect Thread) have invaded Earth! Unfortunately, it doesn't appear the Avengers are quite ready to take something like this on. Enter Type-3 Kiryu (Respect Thread)! With his various weapons and powerful strength, he should be able to handle even a Leviathans with ease. Of course, a whole army of them is a bit different. Here's hoping that Kiryu will be able to hold out with going off the rails…

Rules

• Kiryu is taking part in the Battle of New York, with a few extra conditions as layed out in the round.

• Any combatants from the MCU are all at the level they were in The Avengers (2012).

• Kiryu is already at New York. There's no need to worry about time spent getting to battle.

• Kiryu is limited to his feats from Godzilla X Mechagodzilla. His arsenal is similarly limited, with it being restricted to his original Back Unit, original railguns, Maser Blade, Type-99 Double Maser Cannon and of course his Type-3 Absolute Zero Cannon.

• All parties are in character.

Rounds

Round 1: Kiryu is assisted by Iron Man (Respect Thread), Captain America (Respect Thread), Black Widow (Respect Thread) and Hawkeye (Respect Thread). In addition, the World Security Council will still launch a nuke.

Round 2: There are no additional heroes helping Kiryu. In addition, the World Security Council is not launching any nuclear weapons—it's all down to Kiryu.
