A squad of the best hunters in Monster Hunter World take on a new Assigned Quest to take out the legendary Darkeater Midir from Dark Souls 3. Can the hunters slay the beast? Or will the Hunters finally face something that they can't defeat?

Both rounds can be fought either where we face off against Darkeater in Dark Souls 3, or in the Arena where we fight Xeno'jiiva in Monster Hunter World. Darkeater has 2 star weakness to all ailments and elements for arguments sake.

Round 1: Darkeater is treated as a normal Elder Dragon so shock and pitfall traps don't work.

Round 2: Darkeater is treated as a normal monster so he can be captured if the Hunters can succeed.
