It seems a lot of Character vs our world fights are a stomp one way or the other. So wanted to try something different for a change. Who do you think clears 1 or more of these rounds but doesnât clear the whole thing? Each round gets progressively harder and adds to the previous in conditions.
In each round your character is moral-less and intent on destroying all militaries and opposition.
Round 1) Your chosen character gets dropped into our world and their book, show, comic, etc, doesnât exist in this world. Each government is told (and believes) some âalienâ has come and they know the starting location of your character. What they do with that information initially might be little or nothing.
Round 2) Now we add in that the fictional work your character is from DOES exist, so if you picked eragon, those books still exist and people can connect the dots.
Round 3) All heads of state are now initially told (and believe) that this âalienâ is a major threat to the world. But countries will still act realistically (in their own interests).
Round 4) All countries will now cooperate wholeheartedly and earnestly to defeat what they see as an existential threat, and they KNOW immediately this threat is the fictional character from their respective medium. The world also gets 1 hour of prep time but doesnât know where the character will appear until they appear.
Who do you think can clear some, but not all of this gauntlet? Bonus points if youâre picking a character that doesnât win primarily via manipulation or espionage.
