The fighters from ippo do have the weight disadvantage, but are the embellishments in the ippo manga/anime enough to push one of them over the top? Things like bouncing your opponent off the mat, pushing back your opponent several feet with a punch, or causing bursts of wind due to the power of the gloves impact.
Round 1: The power needed in order to do these feats is not needed. Assume normal power of a world class fighter in that class (or whatever normal power is for the type of boxer you choose from ippo i.e Miyata having the power of an irl outboxer vs ippo having one of an irl inboxer). They would just have the perks of potentially being able to push Tyson to the ropes with one punch even if the power isn’t strong enough to do that in real life.
Round 2: The power and energy needed to do the feats seen in Ippo is needed. For example, if you need the power of 3 men in order to push someone back a few feet with a punch, or 200mph speed to cause steam to come off a glove, then that is how powerful the punch is.
Round 3: Assuming that round 2 is extremely favored for the Ippo fighters, how many Mike Tyson’s would it take to beat the strongest featherweight fighter with round 2 rules? (I know in-universe Martinez is the strongest, but you can make your case for miyata or sendo being stronger irl due to how their feats would translate to real life)
