I don't know if this has been asked before, I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything, but this seems like a question that should have been asked already, so I don't know. Sorry if it has. Anyway, what is the minimum amount of power needed to defeat irl earth as it is today?
Round 1 - Earth is exactly as it is now, not bloodlusted or anything. Basically everyone is in character. What would be the minimum level of strength, speed, and durability needed to defeat all of the armies on earth, and all of the civilians?
Round 2 - Earth is bloodlusted, and will do anything to achieve victory, regardless of the consequences. Meaning nukes are on the table, as is anything else, including warcrimes. I imagine you would need one or two immunity superpowers for this scenario, since nukes are hotter than the sun and humanity has access to some pretty narly poisons, acids, diseases, and the like that they could use as biological warfare.
Round 3 - Earth is bloodlusted as before, but now everyone is working together seamlessly to achieve victory. With round 2, wars and such would have still been going on, they just would have been put on the backburner, but now everyone is putting aside their differences and working together as efficiently as they can. What is the minimum power needed to defeat an Earth that's bloodlusted and working to their full potential?
EDIT: Looking through these replies, I realise I wasn't very clear on the win conditions, my bad.
The win conditions are:
1-You need to be alive in the end, so no suicide bombers or anything.
2-Every human on earth needs to be defeated. Whether that means killing all of them, or simply beating all of them up, depends on which option you could accomplish with less power. It can also count if they themselves consider a defeat.
R1--Probably Putin, Xi or Biden, if they put their mind to it, could bring about a nuclear war to exterminate humanity. Destroying all life would take more work, but I bet they could find a way. Nuclear winter isn't guaranteed but perhaps nuclear bombs could be seeded in a way to guarantee blocking out the sun.
Assuming they arrange some reminent to take care of them they could probably spend the apocalypse wiping out deep sea vents and ecosystems that might survive.
If they have to wipe out all subterranean bacteria though I don't think they can do it.
R2 and R3... I'll be lazy and just say superman
