If reality warping was not an option, could the flood (halo) conquer the marvel (616) Earth

High Charity is overrun by the flood and instead of crashing on the ark, it lands in the 616 universes NYC. Can the Flood win, provided they can’t just be waved away by reality warpers?
Rules: Flood start out with a pre-existing gravemind inside High Charity and all the forces they would have consumed inside it in Halo 2 Marvel Characters are in Base form and have no warning of the floods coming before High Charity crashes into NYC
Bonus) Could anyone actually scientifically make a cure for the Flood?
