bit of a rant here, but some advice about all of this could be cool too.

I’m new, but at the point where nobody is on the job training me anymore, so I’m just alone when doing tasks. The tasks are pretty easy but time consuming. And it’s stressful. I have to do the thing where I scan inventory to find where items are at zero quantity. Of course stock shelves. Do date check, and then take temperatures of all freezers and coolers, including the amazon shopper ones. PM refills. Then I have to scan all spoilage and separate them into the garbage and donations. ALL WHILE having to also take a 30 min lunch and two 15 min breaks. It’s literally too much for me time wise. Especially because of date checking alone, I’m so slow with that. It got to the point that I cheated and didn’t even look at the dates anymore, I just fronted the shelves lmao. And then yesterday I still didn’t do PM refills. I’m like the only person of my zone that does all of these things. I don’t understand why they don’t have literally just one other person to help me out with this? Like, I feel like I’m gonna get written up and fired eventually, because I just can’t work that fast, especially when customers want to talk to me literally every 10 minutes, doesn’t matter if I’m in the freezer stocking, they’ll poke their heads into the door to ask me about yogurt and talk about it for 10 minutes as jingle bells is fuckin blasting on the radio.
