I'm so happy with my progress! I lost 23 lbs, several inches all over, and did it during a Lupus flare, which is often a cue for emotional eating for me. I'm so proud that I was able to hold strong. I also believe that eating an anti-inflammatory diet like Whole 30 helps with the severity of my symptoms, which is invaluable.
I started round 2 on Monday, so I'm on Day 3 now. Since I finished my last round Thursday, I had a small gluten free pizza on Friday and a chocolate shake on Sunday and didn't undo any progress. It was really easy to get back on track. I'm really excited, even though I still have about 70 lbs I'd like to lose. I'm now feeling well enough to start doing some exercise.
