Anyone use the backdeck roll
Post Body

Me and my buddy use the backdeck roll. Its the only roll I can do, but watching other rolls it seems to be the one I'd prefer to use exclusively.

I've read a looot of debate on backdeck vs c2c/sweep. Im talking downriver/creeking context not playing in a hole.

I think the backdeck would, at least to my knowledge, would be the best. I find it to be the most practical setup and despite what some say, I think its more protective. You also don't need as much water.

On the other hand, I've heard some rolls work better say in aerated water. Im going to assume the backdeck doesn't shine here. Of course, its best to know as many rolls as possible, but i need to know if the backdeck is going to do me right in class 4 water.

I would love to hear yalls thoughts.
