Currently I have a riot magnum and a mobius. Since I bought the mobius I have not been inside the riot. I very much like the playboat better.
I'm thinkimg about selling the magnum to my friend who's just getting into ww and buying a half slice. Im on the threshold of "intermediate" but my ultimate goal is to be able to style rapids doing 360, barrels rolls, wheelies out of rapids. Id much like that over throwing myself in a surf wave, and I'm not a big fan of hauling around a gigantic log either. Plus people like the senders and a lot of people st oceana look like they're having ways too much fun in those.
I'm going to be using this when I'm on a river that I'm not 100 percent comfortable using the playboat, but I don't want to lose the fun either. I've never been in one, but they seem great for navigating downstream in the rowdiest way possible.
Tell me what you think or will I regret selling the magnum? I cant really have both, and the magnum is just collecting dust. Plus, I can always use the magnum if my friend buys it he doesn't kayak often anyhow.
Why do yall use slicies?
