What a year! Cy Young or broken machine. Boras client. Breaking down.

For awhile, he was among the headliners for the free agent class. Maybe the Sox were babying him - but it was just precautionary. Nope - no more. He is an ace …. for about 15 games. A true ace. The rest…

It’s early. Off day. I’m bored. Do the Sox extend a qualifying offer? Pretty high price tag:

Pro: - thin on known SPs - be nice to get that extra draft pick if he leaves - Boras - maybe fvck him

Con: - 15 games??? - alligator arms Jerry - Boras - maybe walks away laughing

As I sit here, I think I do the QO. If successful, I plan for a six man rotation next year. What six? Another thread. But I want that draft pick if someone is going to make that Boras offer.
