But I don't want to lose Liam Hendriks, and neither does he want to leave the Sox.

Frankly, I think the Sox did a great job easing him in after stage 4 of cancer. He was so emotional and seems to be a great human being. He will always be grateful to our team. He might have to change his role, be a coach, be an ambassador, or just go home to Perth.

Our fanbase does incredible things here - because they know the game, they are honest and unique, and I was just proud to be a fan with the support and love for this crazy Aussie.

My nephew had the exact type of carcinoma, so I might be a little weighted here, but let's just see what happens.
