Question regarding filing a tax extension with SAVE plan

When I file for my tax extensions so that my SAVE plan will take my 2022 tax info instead, do I also need to file for a state tax extension? Or will a federal tax extension be sufficient? If it matters, I'm using freetaxusa dot com. Thank you for your help.
Apologies if wrong flair and if I should have used *Tax Reductions* instead.
