As we all know, whisper was a place full of different types of people, what I miss most about the app was actually being able to vent, be myself, and talk to others that actually accepted me, didn't judge, and were great to talk to, and even meeting others that were more genuine online being they could hide behind the key part so you had much better conversation and connections. I've met a few people over the years in person and a few online that became friends. Unfortunately, friendships grow apart, and we end up seeking that magic we once had with someone else.
I keep trying other apps, even dating apps that have more of a casual chat style option, but I'm left feeling alone and have no idea where to turn. The only app I've had a handful of conversations on lately is Hush, but it's so dead in my area.
