I've used Whisper since 2016 (uninstalling and reinstalling all the time!). Met two long term partners through it, a ton of hook ups, and lots of friends.

Lately I've been going through some nontraditional stuff and just been really dying to post it to whisper and talk about it with folks, but it doesn't exist anymore.

I've tried looking in subreddits for communities that might fit, but I they're all just cesspools of genuine and spam porn pics.

I never knew how much it meant to me but the whisper combo of localized access, with anonymity, with weirdly intellectual stimulation was just the best. I miss it and don't know what to do without going to dating apps - and I don't want to date.
