Found someone to play Fortnite with me, to play Rust with me, to play League of Legends with me.

Found someone after surgery to do some shopping.

Found someone else to paint my living room. Sound someone to sell my previous gaming PC and phones for me!

In all cases (other than surgery) I met at Starbucks first. Then went back to my place, took pics of all the items, went home. Boom! Neat!

For the surgery one - well - I was on Discord with some online but IRL long distance friends, explained what was going on, and we were on a live call when they came over to make sure everything was ok!

I’ve also raged at dumb people, posted some thoughts I didn’t feel comfortable sharing IRL and got some advice on how to approach the various situations to let people down easy or just disconnect from toxic people.

It’s like twitter but less algorithm. You see all the noise
